Helios Lodges Company Ltd., was established in Tanzania in 2018 with the aim of investing and developing tourism and hospitality projects.

 In 2019 the company signed license agreements with Tanzania National Parks Authority for the construction of Lodges in Serengeti National Park (150 beds in Lobo area) and Tarangire National Park (150 beds in Kitbong Hill) and a permanent tented camp in Lake Manyara National Park (50 beds in Msasa River area). The design development has been done by a consortium of established South African designers, architects, and engineers, led by Source Interior Brand Architecture and GAPP. The management of the three facilities has been agreed with Kempinski S.A. (management agreements are already signed). The expected investment is around 65 M USD with more than 5% of it already spent on design development and acquisition of rights.
